Destinationkarlstad.se is Karlstad’s official tourist website. It is run by Karlstad’s municipal tourism office.

The content of the website is editorial and is based on an independent quality evaluation of selected venues and events. Our target group is Swedish and international tourists. We are marketing Karlstad for the private sector and these marketing activities are coordinated under the Destination Karlstad umbrella.

Karlstads-Hammarö tourist information office

The staff at the tourist office in Bibliotekshuset (the public library building) provides service and help with all kinds of queries. We have tourist brochures and information about events taking place in the Karlstad region. We can also help you book a hotel or hostel room, find a holiday bungalow, sign you up for membership of the Swedish Tourist Association (STF), recommend guides, package trips and much more. You can also buy postcards, literature, t-shirts and other souvenirs in different price categories.
