Second time in Karlstad

Putte i Parken music festival will be held in Karlstad for the second time in 2013. Karlstad, known in Sweden as the ‘sunny city’. So bring the sun cream.The festival has wide appeal for its genre-less pick of acts and what’s wrong with that? The more the merrier we say. And the venue? Mariebergsskogen is a cracker. It’s a city park/nature reserve, turned music festival venue, all rolled into one. Mariebergsskogen sits on the northern shore of lake Vänern, one of Europe’s mightiest lakes. The almost constant daylight of Sweden in high summer and lakeside position gives Putte i Parken an atmosphere like no other.

Karlstad rocks
